For PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP the following documents are required:
1 – Copy of identity document.
2 – Last exam certificate or report.
3 – A letter of motivation as to why you are applying. You will also need your previous teachers’ names.
You can apply if you are over 16 years and have passed previous RMDC exams in the subject you are applying for. You will receive an email with confirmation that your application is under perusal which can take 24 hours to 2 weeks. Upon acceptance of your application, you should receive an email giving you further instructions. For Affiliate membership application please use the appropriate form.
After applications are approved membership fees are due and syllabus notes must be purchased.

There is no deadline to enrol for associate membership. Online classes are done at teachers own pace and one on one and peer to peer training is not dependant on any factors. However, you do need to know the syllabus and be able to dance it at the practical workshop in July
After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email. The enrolment team will review your documents and contact you if any additional information is needed. You will be notified of the status of your application within a specified timeframe.
There is no enrolment fee but there are the following fees payable:
o RMDC Yearly membership subscription. (Yearly). Please request the rate for the current year.
o The purchase of syllabus notes and videos for each level.
o One on one and peer group classes virtual or live.
o Associate Exam fees
Enrolling in the program provides access to comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, and the chance to be part of the RhythMETHOD DanceCONNECTIVE (R.M.D.C) dance association. You will also have the opportunity to teach the tap syllabus and enter dancers into dance exams.
Yes, affiliated teachers who have previously qualified as tap dance teachers through other dance associations can enrol. You will need to provide proof of your previous qualifications and may need to complete additional theoretical online courses and practical training. Affiliate teachers are not regarded as full associates and may miss out on non-essential benefits.
